4. Is it alright if I register with other recruitment agencies? Yes, registering with other Australian recruitment agencies is entirely your decision. Gold Recruitment does not withhold your rights to register with other recruitment agencies. However, it would be advisable to let us know which other agencies you are registered with so that there is no duplication of your CV when you apply for any job vacancy. |

5. Do I need to pay anything to register or use the Gold Recruitment Website? No, registering with the Gold Recruitment website is free for all jobseekers. All you have to do is register your details with us and apply directly for any job vacancies. |

6. Do I pay Gold Recruitment to help find me a job? No, it is against the law for a recruitment agency to charge a jobseeker for registering with them and also for finding them a job. |

7. Are there any extra charges, hidden costs or other additional fees? No extra charges apply. |

8. I have applied for a job but I have not heard anything - Has the employer received my CV? We don’t send your CV to any employer without you knowing about it. |

9. Will I be interviewed by the Employer if he/she finds my resume appropriate for the applied job? If the agency or employer feels that your skills and experience are suited to a particular position available, then you will be called for an interview. |

10. How should I treat an interview with the Employer? Candidates should treat an interview with the employer as their first one. Companies will shortlist candidates before calling them for an interview. Any successful hiring will depend on your CV and interview with the company. |

11. Will my references be checked by the company? Any mentioned references are checked by Gold Recruitment first for verification purposes. However in some instances, the employer may do so as well. Either way the candidate’s permission will be taken first, before conducting any such background checks |

12. When can I expect a response with regard to an interview held with a potential employer? Most employers do give their feedback to prospective employees within a few days after the interview, either through an e-mail or a phone call. We suggest that you wait for potential employers to get in touch with you first. |
